Message Well, okay, it's not a viper or something like that, hehe, but it's also not US spec M3 with only 240hp, but the real Euro version with 321hp.

Well i thought he'd kill me bad, but still we raced... first we tried from 2nd gear from around 30mph (heh, i tried to start the race from enough speed to have rpm in turbo range :) and we ran even up to 100mph where i let off! This is so strange. Even with these 'mods' that i have, i still have less hp than he does, not to mention Z weighs like a pig :)
Perhaps it was the 286hp M3, though i'm quite sure he has the one with newer engine.

From a rolling start in 1st gear he killed me though.. he had a car length on me at 80mph. Most i lost in 1st and 2nd gear, then began running his speed more or less... The weight shows at lower speeds.

But it's such a stupid feeling.. i mean, we have quite fast cars here, i mean, ~300HP (and much more for many ppl here) is quite something, but still when you're in a race, you're holding that gas pedal down to the bottom, with the corner of the eye you're looking at the fellow racer, and all the time i was thinking - my god i have a slow car, is it accelerating at all? :) And my reaction is always to look at the boost gauge if all is OK, cause it seems like it's not going anywhere :)

Oky, it's not a story to hold you at the edge of your seat, cause i'm not much of a writer, but just an info how you'll hold up against european M3 if you happen to come accross one and race it (not very likely in USA, but here are also some european readers).

Good night now.. it's 4:30am here already :)
